So my amazing friend, Ann, just sent me the most incredible gift. It's a beautiful felted alpaca-fiber handbag.
A little bit about Ann - she lives on a farm in Minnesota, raising camelids. Her alpacas and llamas are wonderful, and there's always a chicken drama going on or a feral cow causing trouble. Ann is a farmer and craftswoman. She shears her alpacas and she may spin, dye, weave, knit and/or felt the fiber. She creates real art.
Ann also is the sole, full-time caregiver to her mother. Ann is going straight to heaven when she's done on earth!
Ann, thanks for the amazing gift - it was totally unneccessary but I will use it and treasure it!
