Going for Gold!

The Ventura County Corporate Games roll on - I played Women's 4's beach volleyball on Saturday.

Stephanie, Terri, Michele, Alison, Lynda & I played together, and took the gold medal. This is Patagonia's sixth year taking gold in women's beach volleyball. I was feeling the pressure to help keep the streak going!

The day started out foggy and cool, but the sun came out. And the wind kicked up. On the beach, that can pose a challenge to ball control. We called ourselves "The Golden Girls," mostly because we were the oldest team out there (Lynda is a grandmother). We hoped experience would win out over younger legs.

We won every game, and had a blast!
