This is an id tag (mine is on a wrist strap) from which first responders can get your medical and emergency contact information in case of an accident. You can also get it as an ankle strap, a shoe-strap, or a dog tag.
If you're 'stable' (e.g., have immediate family in a permanent location), you can have your emergency contact people engraved on the tag. But I opted for the 'registered' version of the RoadID. There is a serial number and pin number on my tag, and I have set up a profile online that a first-responder can access via phone or web. This way, I can change my address, my contacts and keep my medical information up to date.
Even if you bike with friends, would they know who to call if something happened to you?
Take a look, and see if you think it's a good idea for you. I have a coupon, good 20 times over the until May 1, for anyone who wants to use it! Coupon Number: ThanksMary360808
