2009 Corporate Games

Once again, it's time for the Ventura County corporate games. With my workload (and riding on the weekends) right now, I wasn't planning to participate much this year. However, turns out I was NEEDED for indoor co-ed volleyball today. Only one other woman could play, so I HAD to play or we'd forfeit. As it was, we had to play with 4. The other team also only had 4 - but they were GOOD. So were we....

It was a real battle, but true to form, we won both games (best of 3). After many years of not playing, I think I'll be a little sore tomorrow. They had a six and a half foot hitter, and I dug up a couple of his spikes awkwardly. Ouch!

We play again Monday night. Semi-finals, and championship after that.
