Bike to Work Week

This week is Bike to Work Week in Ventura county. It' s an annual attempt to get people on their bikes for their commutes, with the hope that more people will commute by bike more often (I don't need BTWW). At work, we have breakfast made by a different department each morning for the riders, and other events throughout the week. Wednesday a bunch of us did a lunch ride up to Lake Casitas (27 miles). It was a great ride!

And on Friday afternoon, beer and ice cream (yeah, a strange combination) on the volleyball court out back. Some awesome schwag was raffled off for people who rode during the week, and it was nice to hang out with my co-workers (been working too many hours on my project lately).
