My sister Anne was married on Saturday to Eric. They are blissfully happy and in love, and we are all so excited for them! Funny, they've known each other for 20 years - their paths have crossed many times, until the time was right.
The wedding was at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas - which is a beautiful place. Although LV is not my cup of tea, I managed to sneak away for a hike in Echo Canyon (near Red Rock Canyon) before the Maid of Honor obligations.
I was happy to be there to celebrate the special day. And my folks even came out from Wisconsin - last time they were in Vegas was 40 years ago (and Dad hasn't been on an airplane in probably 15 years).
The two families got on great, and we're all looking forward to being related :-)
